SVP, Product Strategy, Marketing Cloud
Martin Kihn is SVP of Product Strategy for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, where he helps guide product planning for Marketing Cloud. Before joining Salesforce earlier this year, he led the data-driven marketing practice as Research VP at Gartner, focusing on ad tech, cross-channel, predictive and attribution analytics. Two-time winner of analyst awards, he was the firm's most-read blogger and a frequent speaker on marketing and advertising strategy. Before that, he was VP and director of strategy and analytics at various Publicis Groupe agencies, including Digitas, specializing in website and digital marketing analytics, attribution and the optimization of marketing and ad campaigns for clients such as American Express and Delta Air Lines. After earning his MBA from Columbia Business School, he worked for a time as a management consultant–an experience described in his book, House of Lies, which was the basis for a Showtime series of the same name that premiered in January 2012. He lives in the NYC area.
