Philippe Krakowsky works with IPG’s CEO to define strategy for the holding company and with agency leadership to implement these initiatives. He oversees talent management, training and development, benefits and IPG’s industry-leading D&I initiatives. Krakowsky implemented the creation of Mediabrands, embedding digital and emerging media capabilities across the group’s portfolio, and IPG’s Healthcare Council. He sits on the boards of several IPG companies including Huge and the minority-owned O’Keefe Reinhardt & Paul; mentors start-ups with R/GA’s Accelerator; and served as interim CEO of FCB during its leadership transition. He also oversees IPG’s business development and corporate communications functions. Prior to IPG, Philippe led the differentiation of Young & Rubicam during its transformation to a public company, and led the positioning for BBDO as a premier global creative network. Krakowsky started his career on a team that built and sold an AI software company to Apple Computer. He’s been inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement, the premier honor for marketing services professionals under age 40. He is a member of the Board of The Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Advisory Council of the University of Oxford’s Department of International Development.
